The American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC) and The Carbon Underground partner on consumer-led program to draw down carbon and support female farmers.

The American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC), a coalition of more than 300,000 companies in the US, has partnered with TCU on the launch of the new Adopt-A-Meter Women in Farming program. ASBC, already a powerful force in aligning companies behind both climate change and regenerative agriculture initiatives, and The Carbon Underground have introduced the program to the ASBC community in an effort to get companies to join. The program, Adopt-A-Meter’s Women In Farming, will grant monies raised from the $5 a meter program to organization around the world helping female owned or operated farms. A webinar (viewable here ) included TCU President Larry Kopald and a panel with Thrive Natural Care’s CEO Alex McIntosh, American Farmland Trust’s Women’s Initiative Director Gabrielle McNally, and Navdanya International’s Deb Barker.
